Who we are

Malaysia's dedicated study-abroad consultancy for Gulf Arab students — since 2010

Myuni Features Education has been placing international students at accredited Malaysian universities and language institutes since 2010. Led by Dr. Tarek Barakat, our team of bilingual education consultants provides Arabic- and English-language guidance to students from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and beyond — at zero cost to the student.

We are not a generic agency. Every student who contacts Myuni Features Education receives a personalised university shortlist based on their academic background, programme preference, budget, and career goals — not a sales brochure.

Our credentials

Registered, verified, and trusted by Gulf families for 15+ years

MOE-registered consultancy

Myuni Features Education operates in compliance with Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education regulations governing international student recruitment.

15 accredited university partners

Every university partner holds a valid MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency) accreditation and MOHE provisional or full approval for international student enrolment.

12 language institute partners

All language institute partners are EMGS-registered and approved to process Student Pass applications for international students enrolled in English programmes.

EMGS-authorised processing

We submit, track, and follow up on EMGS eVAL applications for every student we place — a process that takes 4 to 8 weeks and is managed entirely by our team.

Arabic and English guidance

Dr. Tarek Barakat and the team are fluent in Arabic and English. Families can communicate in their preferred language at every stage of the process.

Free to students

Our placement fee is paid by the university or institute partner — never by the student. The only fees students pay directly are institutional application, EMGS, and tuition fees.

Our process

From first message to first day of class — handled end-to-end

Step 1 — Free consultation

Contact us on WhatsApp. We ask about your qualifications, budget, programme preference, and timeline. Within one business day, you receive a shortlist of 2–3 universities or institutes matched specifically to your profile.

Step 2 — Admission paperwork

We prepare and submit your application to the institution on your behalf, including document attestation, form completion, and follow-up correspondence. Most students receive a conditional offer letter within 7–14 days.

Step 3 — EMGS visa and housing

Once your acceptance is confirmed, we file your EMGS eVAL student visa application with the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, arrange vetted student accommodation near the campus, and send you a pre-departure checklist.

Step 4 — Arrival and onboarding

A Myuni Features Education staff member meets you at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and takes you to your accommodation. Over your first two weeks, we assist with SIM card registration, bank account opening, campus enrolment, and EMGS check-in.

Why Malaysia

10 reasons Gulf Arab families choose Malaysia over the UK or Australia

  • English-medium degrees at roughly one-third of UK or Australian tuition fees
  • Malaysian private universities co-award degrees with UK, Australian, and US institutions
  • Muslim-majority country with halal food on every campus and prayer spaces on-site
  • No language barrier for Arabic speakers — large Arab expatriate communities in KL and Cyberjaya
  • Flight time under 8 hours from Kuwait, Riyadh, Dubai, or Doha
  • EMGS student visa is straightforward and processed within 4–8 weeks
  • Safe, politically stable, and family-friendly environment
  • Lower cost of living — RM 1,500–3,000 per month covers accommodation, food, and transport
  • Parents can visit on a simple tourist visa — no additional formalities
  • Graduates earn MQA-accredited degrees recognised globally by employers and universities

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Myuni Features Education and what services do they offer?

Myuni Features Education is a Malaysian-registered education consultancy that places international students — particularly from the GCC — at accredited Malaysian universities and English language institutes. Services include free university shortlisting, admission paperwork, EMGS student visa processing, student housing arrangement, and airport pickup. All services are free to students.

How long has Myuni Features Education been operating?

Myuni Features Education has been placing international students in Malaysia since 2010 — over 15 years of experience. During this time, the consultancy has developed institutional relationships with 15 accredited universities and 12 language institutes across Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya, Subang Jaya, and other key Malaysian study destinations.

Is Myuni Features Education registered with the Malaysian government?

Yes. Myuni Features Education operates in compliance with Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) regulations for international student recruitment agencies. All university and language institute partners hold valid MQA accreditation and MOHE approval.

What countries does Myuni Features Education serve?

Myuni Features Education primarily serves students from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. The consultancy provides Arabic and English guidance throughout the placement process, making it particularly accessible to Gulf Arab families.

Can Myuni Features Education help with EMGS student visa processing?

Yes. Myuni Features Education manages the entire EMGS eVAL student visa application process on behalf of the student. This includes preparing and submitting documents to the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education portal, tracking the application status, and following up until the Student Pass is approved.

How does Myuni Features Education choose which university to recommend?

Myuni Features Education builds a personalised shortlist for each student based on their academic qualifications, desired programme, target career, available budget, and preferred campus city. The team does not work from a fixed priority list — recommendations are genuinely tailored to the student's profile.

What happens if a student's EMGS visa application is delayed or rejected?

Myuni Features Education has extensive experience managing EMGS applications and knows how to avoid common document errors that cause delays. In the rare case of a rejection, the team identifies the reason, resubmits a corrected application, and keeps the student and family informed throughout. The university partner typically grants a deferred intake if processing takes longer than expected.

Does Myuni Features Education provide support after the student arrives in Malaysia?

Yes. The Myuni Features Education team meets every student at KLIA on arrival day and assists with the first two weeks of settling in — including accommodation move-in, SIM card and bank account setup, campus enrolment, and EMGS check-in appointment. A single advisor remains available on WhatsApp throughout the student's programme for ongoing support.
