Tech Vision Era ("we", "us", "our") operates study-in-malaysia.techvisionera.com (the "Site"), a free education placement service helping Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) students from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman study in Malaysia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used, stored, and shared.

By submitting an enquiry form on this Site, contacting us via WhatsApp, or engaging our placement services, you consent to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data from students and families:

• Identity data: Full name, nationality, date of birth, passport number.
• Contact data: Email address, WhatsApp/phone number, country of residence.
• Academic data: Current qualification level, grade transcripts, English proficiency scores (IELTS/TOEFL), intended field of study.
• Financial data: Budget range for tuition and living expenses (no payment card data is collected on this Site).
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral source — collected automatically via server logs and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Data

1. Evaluating your academic profile and recommending suitable Malaysian universities or language institutes.
2. Preparing and submitting university application documents on your behalf.
3. Liaising with partner universities and the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) agency regarding student visa applications.
4. Coordinating pre-departure services including housing and airport pickup where requested.
5. Communicating with you regarding your application status, document requirements, and deadlines.
6. Improving the Site's content and performance through anonymised analytics.

We do not use your personal data for advertising profiling, automated decision-making with legal effect, or any purpose unrelated to your education placement.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We share your personal data only with parties necessary to deliver the placement service:

• Partner universities and language institutes in Malaysia: Your academic and identity documents are shared with the institutions you select for application processing.
• Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS): Student visa applications require submission of personal and passport data to EMGS, the body authorised by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education to process student visas.
• Housing coordinators: Where you request housing assistance, your name and arrival details are shared with vetted accommodation providers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share it with marketing agencies, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to deliver the placement service and comply with legal obligations. Specifically:

• Active placement files are retained throughout your enrolment process and for three (3) years after your last interaction with us.
• Enquiry data from contacts who did not proceed with placement is retained for twelve (12) months and then deleted.
• Anonymous analytics data has no fixed retention limit.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Communication with universities and EMGS is conducted via official secure channels.
