1. About Our Service
Myuni Features Education provides a free education placement service connecting GCC students with accredited Malaysian universities and language institutes. "Free" means that students and families pay no consultancy or placement fee to Myuni Features Education — partner institutions pay a standard referral commission directly to us. You will still be responsible for university tuition fees, EMGS visa application fees, accommodation costs, and any other costs associated with studying in Malaysia.
2. Agreement
By submitting an enquiry, signing a placement consent form, or otherwise engaging our Study in Malaysia services, you ("Student", "Client", or "Family") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent on your behalf.
3. Our Role
Myuni Features Education acts as an education placement consultant and facilitator. We do not:
- Operate as a Malaysian educational institution or issue academic credentials.
- Make or guarantee admissions decisions — all admissions decisions rest exclusively with the partner universities and institutes.
- Control EMGS processing timelines, visa approval rates, or Malaysian immigration policy.
- Guarantee specific accommodation, grade outcomes, or post-graduation employment.
4. Student and Family Responsibilities
You agree to the following:
- Accurate documents: All academic transcripts, certificates, passports, and personal documents submitted are genuine and accurate. Submission of falsified or misleading documents is grounds for immediate termination of the placement engagement with no refund, and may have serious immigration and legal consequences.
- Timely response: You will respond to requests for documents, approvals, or additional information within five (5) working days. Delays caused by late response may affect application deadlines and are not the responsibility of Myuni Features Education.
- Financial responsibility: You are responsible for securing the funds required for tuition fees, EMGS visa fees, health insurance, accommodation, and living expenses before commencing your studies in Malaysia.
- Compliance with Malaysian law: You agree to comply with the conditions of your student visa and all applicable Malaysian laws and university regulations during your stay.
5. EMGS Student Visa
Student visa applications for Malaysia are processed by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), a government-authorised body. EMGS fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application. Processing times vary and are subject to change without notice. Myuni Features Education will advise on current requirements and assist with document preparation, but cannot guarantee visa approval or a specific processing timeline.
6. Institution Selection
We will present a shortlist of accredited Malaysian institutions matching your academic profile, budget, and preferences. The final selection is yours. Myuni Features Education does not accept responsibility for the academic outcomes, quality of instruction, accreditation status changes, or institutional policies of any recommended institution after your enrolment.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the placement engagement at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, Myuni Features Education will return all original documents provided by you. No refund of any fees already paid directly to third parties (universities, EMGS) is possible, as those payments are governed by the respective third party's refund policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myuni Features Education's liability for any claim arising from the Study in Malaysia placement service is limited to the direct, documented financial loss caused by our proven negligence, up to a maximum of the total fees paid by you to Myuni Features Education (excluding any fees paid directly to universities or EMGS). We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of opportunity, or outcomes attributable to third-party decisions (university admissions, EMGS visa decisions).
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation; unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kuwait City.
